We make every effort to describe our products accurately, including size, grade, condition, and specifications. All containers are inspected and graded prior to sale and any known imperfections are disclosed. Product images are representative and the actual unit delivered may vary slightly in appearance while conforming to the stated grade and specification. If you have questions about a specific unit before purchasing, contact us for additional photos, a condition report, or to arrange an inspection at our depot.
All prices are listed in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price confirmed on your invoice at the time of order confirmation. Prices shown on the website are indicative and may vary based on your configuration, delivery location, and applicable sales tax. Once a quote is accepted and a deposit paid, the price is held for 30 days.
Placing an order through our website or with our sales team constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we issue a written order confirmation and your payment or deposit is received. We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion, including if the product is no longer available or if we suspect fraudulent activity.
Full payment is required before your order is dispatched unless a pre-approved credit account or payment plan is in place. For custom conversion orders, a 50% deposit is required at order confirmation with the balance due prior to delivery. Refer to our Payment Policy for full details.
We offer three delivery options: Delivery and Installation (Forklift/Crane), Standard Delivery (3–7 business days), and Extended Delivery for remote locations (8–14 or 14–21 business days). Delivery timeframes are estimates and may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. The customer is responsible for ensuring adequate site access and a suitable placement surface. Refer to our Shipping Policy for full requirements.
Risk in the goods passes to the customer at the point of delivery. Title (legal ownership) passes to the customer once full payment has been received. If goods are delivered before full payment has cleared, Sea Containers USA retains title to the goods until payment is complete.
Orders cancelled within 24 hours of placement and before dispatch arrangements are made will receive a full refund. Orders cancelled after 24 hours but before dispatch may be subject to an administration and restocking fee of up to 15% of the order value. Orders cancelled after dispatch may be subject to the full delivery cost plus a restocking fee. Custom conversion orders cannot be cancelled once work has commenced.
If a product delivered does not match the agreed specification, is not wind and watertight as stated, or has undisclosed structural damage, you may be eligible for a replacement, repair, or refund. Claims must be raised within 7 days of delivery. Please refer to our Refund and Returns Policy for the complete procedure.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sea Containers USA's total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the total value of the goods purchased in that order. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss including loss of profit, loss of business, or property damage arising from use of our products beyond their normal intended purpose.
We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where such delay or failure results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, supply chain disruptions, or government restrictions. We will notify you promptly of any such event and work to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
All content on the Sea Containers USA website — including text, images, logos, and design — is our property and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without our written permission.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or a purchase shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Utah in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version in effect at the time of your order will apply to that order. The current version is always available on this page.
