Absolutely β and we encourage it. Contact us to arrange a viewing at your nearest depot location. We'd rather you see exactly what you're getting before committing. All our containers are honestly graded and clearly described, so there are never any surprises. Additional photos and condition reports are also available on request.

Yes. We can hold a specific unit for you with a small deposit while you confirm your site details, delivery window, or internal approvals. Contact us to arrange this and we'll confirm availability and the hold period.
For standard products with a straightforward delivery location, we can typically provide a quote within the same business day β often within a few hours. For custom conversions or complex site requirements, it may take 1β2 business days to provide an accurate quote.
Yes. Collection from selected depots is available. Contact us in advance to confirm your preferred depot has stock available and to schedule a collection date and time. Please bring photo ID and your order confirmation.
We offer three delivery options to suit different site conditions and locations. Option 1: Delivery and Installation using a forklift or crane β our full-service option for precise placement, confined spaces, or sites requiring specialist equipment. Option 2: Standard Delivery in 3β7 business days β tilt-bed flatbed delivery, our most popular option for customers near our regional depots. Option 3: Extended Delivery in 8β14 or 14β21 business days β for customers in more remote areas or at greater distance from our depots. Our team will confirm the right option and exact timeframe for your location.
Yes. We deliver to all 48 contiguous US states as standard, and to Alaska and Hawaii on request (additional freight charges apply for AK and HI). We maintain depot locations across the country β from the East Coast to the West Coast β so we're never far from your project. Give us your zip code and we'll confirm your nearest depot and delivery cost the same day.
Our standard delivery option takes 3β7 business days from the date your order is confirmed and payment is received. This applies to customers located near our regional depots across the US. For more remote areas, our extended delivery options of 8β14 or 14β21 business days apply. We'll always confirm your expected delivery window when you place your order.
Please ensure you have: a firm, level surface for the container (concrete, compacted hardcore, or railway sleepers are ideal β avoid soft soil or slopes); clear vehicle access of at least 10ft wide with 14ft overhead clearance; sufficient access length for a vehicle up to 60ft long; and a responsible adult on-site to direct placement and sign the delivery paperwork. If you have any access concerns, contact us before your delivery date.
Our tilt-bed flatbed truck will position alongside your desired placement area, tilt the bed, and slide the container into position. The driver will work with you to get the unit as close to your ideal position as the vehicle access allows. For sites requiring crane or forklift placement, or where access is particularly restricted, our Delivery and Installation service covers this with the appropriate specialist equipment. Additional charges apply for this service and will be quoted upfront.
Don't worry β we've delivered to some extremely challenging locations over the years. Contact us before ordering and describe your site access. We'll advise the best approach, whether that's a smaller delivery vehicle, crane hire, block-and-tackle rigging, or our full forklift/crane installation service. Wherever you are, we will find a way to get your container to you.
Yes, we deliver to construction sites regularly. Please ensure our driver is able to access the site during working hours, that there is a clear area for the container, and that a site representative is available to direct placement and sign for the delivery. If the site has a traffic management plan or specific delivery windows, please let us know in advance.
Yes. We will always contact you at least 24 hours before your scheduled delivery to confirm the arrival window. On the day, the driver will also call approximately 1 hour before arriving. We understand that being available for a delivery requires planning on your part, and we respect your time.
We stock a wide range β 10ft, 20ft, 30ft, and 40ft standard shipping containers, 40ft high-cube containers (extra headroom), container homes, container offices, trailer offices, steel anti-vandal cabins, jackleg cabins, flat pack cabins, toilet and shower welfare blocks, and site security units. We also offer custom conversions and modifications to any spec. Browse our full range in the shop or contact us directly for availability on a specific size or configuration.
A One-Trip container has made a single cargo shipment and is in near-new condition β minimal surface marks, no significant rust, tight-fitting doors. It's the closest thing to brand new at a lower price than a factory-new unit. A Grade A container is certified wind and watertight and structurally sound, but has been used in normal shipping service and will have surface rust, dents, and paint marks consistent with its working life. For general storage, Grade A is excellent value. For conversions, offices, or customer-facing applications where appearance matters, we recommend One-Trip.
All Grade A and One-Trip containers are certified wind and watertight at time of sale. Every container is inspected before dispatch. If a unit does not meet this standard, it is either repaired and then sold as Grade A, or clearly described and sold as Grade B at a reduced price. We never misrepresent the condition of any unit we sell.
Yes. We offer a full in-house conversion service. Common modifications include extra personnel doors and roller shutters, windows and roof lights, spray foam or board insulation, internal wall lining and flooring, full electrical installation (lighting, sockets, heating, data), external repainting in any RAL or BS colour, shelving and racking systems, and mechanical ventilation. Contact us with your full specification and we'll provide a detailed, itemised conversion quote.
A well-maintained Corten steel shipping container will typically last 25 years or more on land. They are engineered to survive ocean voyages in the world's most extreme conditions, so dry land storage is relatively easy duty. We recommend an annual inspection and prompt treatment of any surface rust with a rust-inhibiting primer to maximise the lifespan of your unit.
Standard shipping containers are designed and engineered to be stacked up to 9 units high when fully loaded in a shipping yard. For on-site stacking we recommend a maximum of 2β3 units and advise consulting a structural engineer to confirm the ground bearing capacity of your site. We can supply compatible stacking units and advise on the best configuration for your specific project.
We source our containers from reputable shipping lines and assess the cargo history where possible. If a container was previously used to carry chemicals or foodstuffs, this will be disclosed. For conversion projects or any use where residue could be a concern, we recommend One-Trip containers which have not been used for general cargo. If you have specific requirements, please discuss them with our team before ordering.
